This year, the Horror Channel Short Movie Competition CUT! received an amazing amount of entries all of which proved that Britain boasts the most inventive horror movie makers in the world. Horror movie making is a cut-throat business and the Horror Channel is proud to be championing new talent.

We had so many different genres covered, from comedy horror to urban terror, from woodland chases to terrifying torture. So many in fact that the judges had an incredibly difficult time in deciding on the winner, but there can only be one. All of them decided that Paul Shrimpton's piece Teleportal was the strongest in both execution and story. Paul, a postman from North Yorkshire has now done what many thought was impossible, winning CUT! two years running!
